Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Checks worth doing

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

While you shop

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Where we work

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Perma; we work from Toronto. Perma lies about 2,755 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For anything about Perma, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
