Buying a car in Perth

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Questions to ask

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

While you shop

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

What CarmaCars covers

There is no CarmaCars location in Perth; everything we do starts in Toronto. Perth lies about 1,670 km from central Toronto, well beyond our 80 km delivery area.

Shopping in Perth? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Send a request about Perth, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
