Shopping for a car in Piney

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Before you sign

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Honest about Piney

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Piney, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Still have a question about Piney? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
