Buying a car in Plear

Shopping for a car in Plear? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Checks worth doing

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

While you shop

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.
