Buying a car in Poor

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Bridging the gap

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.

What we can do for Poor

We are based in Toronto; Poor is not somewhere we have a location. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Poor is about 1,273 km out.

For buying in Poor, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you still want to ask about Poor, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

One more step

Ask us anything about renting before you buy.
