Shopping for a car in Potato Patch

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Buying smart in Ontario

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
