Shopping for a car in Preble

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Preble, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

A buyer's checklist

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

While you shop

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Toronto based

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Preble. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Preble is about 574 km out.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Unsure? Send a request about Preble, and we answer plainly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
