Auto Loans in Progress

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Reach and distance

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Unsure? Send a request about Progress, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
