Buying a car in Prosper

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Checks worth doing

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Between cars

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

About distance

CarmaCars has no branch in Prosper. We rent from one location in Toronto. About 464 km from our location in Toronto, Prosper is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Still have a question about Prosper? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
