Auto Loans in Prunedale, CA

Shopping for a car in Prunedale

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Before you sign

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Bridging the gap

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.
