Shopping for a car in Rader

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Questions to ask

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

While you shop

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Where we deliver

There is no CarmaCars office, lot or branch in Rader. By straight line Rader is about 1,332 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Rader? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Ask us about Rader in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
