Buying a car in Ranchito

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Before you sign

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

While you shop

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Toronto based

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Ranchito. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Ranchito is about 2,575 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Ranchito? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you still want to ask about Ranchito, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
