Buying a car in Rawson

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

While you shop

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Where we deliver

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Rawson. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Rawson is about 484 km out.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are unsure whether we can help with Rawson, ask; we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
