Shopping for a car in Rescue

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Before you sign

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Between cars

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

What we cover

CarmaCars has no branch in Rescue. We rent from one location in Toronto. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Rescue, about 1,440 km away, is beyond that.

For buying in Rescue, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Rescue if you like. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
