Buying a car in Rice

Shopping for a car in Rice? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Buying smart in Ontario

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

Where CarmaCars works

We do not have a location in Rice; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. Rice is about 3,232 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Unsure? Send a request about Rice, and we answer plainly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
