Auto Loans in Rip Rap, VA

Shopping for a car in Rip Rap

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Questions to ask

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

While you shop

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.
