Buying a car in Riverside

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

A car meanwhile

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

CarmaCars and Riverside

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Riverside. Riverside lies about 1,652 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Send a request about Riverside, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
