Buying a car in Roby

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Bridging the gap

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Toronto based

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Roby. About 1,287 km from our location in Toronto, Roby is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Roby? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Tell us what you are planning in Roby, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
