Shopping for a car in Roll

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

What to check before you buy

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Bridging the gap

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Roll is outside the area we serve. Roll lies about 1,952 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For buying in Roll, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Send a request about Roll, and we reply with a clear yes or no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
