Buying a car in Sandy

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Buying smart in Ontario

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

While you shop

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Sandy is outside the area we serve. About 2,032 km from our location in Toronto, Sandy is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Sandy? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Sandy if you like. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
