Buying a car in Sargent

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
