Auto Loans in Schick, IL

Before you buy in Schick

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Questions to ask

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.
