Buying a car in Scribner

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

What to check before you buy

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Toronto based

We do not have a location in Scribner; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. Scribner lies about 1,428 km from central Toronto, well beyond our 80 km delivery area.

Shopping in Scribner? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you are planning in Scribner, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
