Auto Loans in Shantz, AB

Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Questions to ask

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Bridging the gap

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
