Shopping for a car in Shively

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Before you sign

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Between cars

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
