Buying a car in Simpson

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Simpson, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Buying smart in Ontario

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

A car meanwhile

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
