Buying a car in Simpson

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

A buyer's checklist

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Between cars

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

What CarmaCars covers

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Simpson is outside our area. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Simpson is about 2,425 km out.

For buying in Simpson, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Simpson, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
