Auto Loans in Smith

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Questions to ask

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

What we cover

Our only location is in Toronto; Smith is outside the area we serve. Smith lies about 851 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For buying in Smith, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Ask us about Smith in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
