Buying a car in Smithsburg

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Checks worth doing

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

A car meanwhile

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Honest about distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Smithsburg. Smithsburg is about 477 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Smithsburg, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you need in Smithsburg, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
