Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Before you sign

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Between cars

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Where we work

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Sobieski. At roughly 1,220 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Sobieski is outside our delivery area.

Shopping in Sobieski? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
