Auto Loans in Southside, Berkeley

Before you buy in Southside

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Buying smart in Ontario

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

While you shop

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
