Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Checks worth doing

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

Where we are

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Spiderweb. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Spiderweb, about 1,172 km away, is beyond that.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you want to check something for Spiderweb, send a request; a person replies honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

One more step

A week with the car can save a costly mistake: request it now.
