Buying a car in Spring Gap

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

What to check before you buy

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Toronto based

There is no CarmaCars location in Spring Gap; everything we do starts in Toronto. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Spring Gap is roughly 3,449 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Spring Gap if you like. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
