Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Checks worth doing

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Between cars

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

Our area

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Spring is outside the area we serve. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Spring is roughly 1,016 km away.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Spring, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Unsure? Send a request about Spring, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
