Shopping for a car in Springfield

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Springfield. Springfield lies about 1,394 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Springfield, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Need something in Springfield?
