Buying a car in Squire

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Delivery to Squire is part of the service, so the test drive starts at home.

Before you sign

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Before your next car arrives

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
