Auto Loans in Stapledon

Shopping for a car in Stapledon

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Checks worth doing

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
