Buying a car in Steuben

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Before you sign

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Between cars

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

A note on distance

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Steuben is outside the area we serve. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Steuben, about 905 km away, is beyond that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Questions about Steuben? Send a request and a person answers honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
