Buying a car in Stiles

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

What to check before you buy

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Where CarmaCars works

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Stiles is outside the area we serve. Stiles is about 2,385 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. A request about Stiles gets an honest answer from a person. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

One more step

Tell us the model and the dates, and we reply with an offer.
