Shopping for a car in Stone

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Buying smart in Ontario

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Where we work

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Stone; we work from Toronto. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Stone, about 2,712 km away, is beyond that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Stone? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Still have a question about Stone? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
