Auto Loans in Straits

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Before you sign

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Where we are

We are based in Toronto; Straits is not somewhere we have a location. The straight-line distance from our location in Toronto to Straits is about 1,030 km, and we deliver within about 250 km.

For buying in Straits, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For anything about Straits, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
