Auto Loans in Strathcona

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

What to check before you buy

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Bridging the gap

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.
