Shopping for a car in String Prairie

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

What to check before you buy

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Toronto based

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in String Prairie. Our delivery reaches about 80 km from Toronto, and String Prairie is about 2,205 km away.
