Shopping for a car in Sumatra

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

A buyer's checklist

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Between cars

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.

Where we work

There is no CarmaCars location in Sumatra; everything we do starts in Toronto. We do not deliver as far as Sumatra, about 1,609 km from our location in Toronto.

For buying in Sumatra, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Ask us about Sumatra in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
