Buying a car in Terrell

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Between cars

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Honest about distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Terrell. Terrell is about 1,272 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Terrell, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you need in Terrell, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
