Auto Loans in Thackeray, IL

Before you buy in Thackeray

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Checks worth doing

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.
