Buying a car in Thorne

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

A buyer's checklist

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.

Reach and distance
