Shopping for a car in Torres

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Torres, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Questions to ask

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
