Buying a car in Tothill

Shopping for a car in Tothill? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Before your next car arrives

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
