Shopping for a car in Trojan

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Questions to ask

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

What we cover

Trojan is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Our delivery area ends about 80 km from Toronto, and Trojan is about 1,950 km out.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For anything about Trojan, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
